Anelka... what else?

Does ANY fan want to see the snivelling greedy ****** (choose your own expletive) back at Highbury?

In many ways I'd love to see him rotting in the reserves but on a more practical side it looks like we need the money to buy a replacement(s?).

What I know for sure is that I don't want to see him in an Arsenal shirt again.

I agree with your article about how limited a striker he is. I've never been fully convinced (yes, he had that one good month but...).

He can't head. He tries to dribble past people when he should pass and sometimes (bizarrely) attempts to pass (inaccuretely) when he should shoot.

I think Fowler would be ideal but it doesn't look like Liverpool will let him go.

I blame Arsene Wenger for this insane situation , we should have been rid of this greedy little sod weeks ago and strengthend our squad with the £15-20 million we would have got if we hadn't been greedy and asked for 22 million.

Days from the Charity Shield we have no strikers and no transfer fee to buy them with .

God help us on Sunday !

What a farce. I can't understand why the club have removed him from the transfer list when it is obvious that neither the vast majority of the fans or the players want to see him again. They, the club, should shoulder some of the blame for the farcical nature of this whole sorry mess because they demanded a price that was (is?) unrealistic.

As Myles Palmer states elsewhere on ANR, Anelka is a long way from the finished article. So to demand £22 million is greedy.

I admire the stand the club have made on the whole subject of contracts but hasn't it always been the case that if a player wants to leave a club then he, or his agent, will find a way to achieve this?

The club should have sold him to Lazio a month ago and spent the money on two strikers to replace Anelka and Diawara.

Anelka the spoilt *****

It seems as though Real Madrid might be coming in for Nic the ***** after all!!

Good riddance to him. I hope if he joins them that we'll have the pleasure of beating Madrid in the Champions League.

Arsenal have behaved impeccably throughout - Importantly, they have made a stand and have not conceded to the immature little **** and his greedy siblings.

Now that he has decided not to return to training (thank God), Arsenal have no option but to sell him. At least they made the point. Now it's time to cash in on him - Nic the *****.

More comments, not only about Anelka, gratefully received?
