Let's do a Campbell tonight
By Myles Palmer
______________ LAST NIGHT I was getting ready to go to a jazz gig in Soho when the phone rang at 7.15. "I'm outside the ground but we don't know the team," said Kelvin. "What's the team?" " They haven't put it up yet. I reckon this game could be 3-3. Or we could lose." "I know we could lose," he said, sounding anxious. As we were talking Sky put the teams up and I told him both teams and both benches. Then I went out to see the Ian Ritchie quartet and when I came home Jan had gone to bed and left a yellow Post-it note on the kitchen counter. In biro she had written : "11.15. Mitch phoned re the result - yuk oh dear " She did not say what the score was. I switched on Sky Sports News and saw that West Ham had won 3-2 and then I had a bath and went to bed and now I'm off to the gym. Tonight I will watch the video and tomorrow I will try to write something sensible. GLEEFUL SPURS fans are emailing each other : Let's do a Campbell tonight. Go for a quick half, and then home.
